I am the Executive Director at Peace Montessori Forest School. I have been a part of this wonderful school since 1998. I came here as the parent of a 7-year-old son and very quickly fell in love with the campus, the philosophy and everything about the school itself. In short order I found myself working in the Elementary classroom. From there it has been a delightful journey to the position that I proudly hold today. Being a part of Peace has been life changing and for me an experience that I will cherish forever. I welcome you all to this amazing school and hope that you enjoy your time here as much as I have enjoyed mine.

I serve as the Administrative Liaison at Peace Montessori Forest School, bringing more than thirty years of Montessori experience in teaching, leadership, mentoring and classroom consulting. I am passionate about nurturing independent, confident learners and creating meaningful connections between children, their teachers and the natural world. I have been blessed to watch both my son and now grandson, attend Peace. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and hiking.

My background is in office management, which translates well to my current position as Business Manager at Peace. I am responsible for all accounting duties including tuition, routine bills, insurance and grants. I have enjoyed watching my two grandsons thrive here and being able to see them grow and learn. It’s been a pleasure to work at Peace for the past twelve years.

I have been a part of the Peace Montessori team for a little over 22 years. I started out as a parent 24 years ago and fell in love with the people, facilities and grounds. I was a journeyman electrician for 15 years and had a landscape company before I came to Peace. I have 3 children and 4 stepchildren ranging in ages from 16 to 25. My hobbies consist of camping, gardening, and fishing with my dad and son.

My name is Marissa; I am the Administrative Assistant here at Peace. I grew up here and am so grateful to be back! I love all things spooky; Halloween is my favorite! I look forward to getting to know all of you and seeing some familiar faces.

Hi everyone! I am Sam Hanke, the lead teacher in Toddler 1. This is the start of my 17th year at Peace. My passion for children and the Montessori philosophy have made my job a joy! In my free time I love being with my husband, 2 sons and 2 dogs. I enjoy reading, taking care of my plants and baking.

Hi, my name is Kalee Anderson. I am so excited to be in the Toddler 1 room with all the lovely students and to see them grow. I love to hike, craft, read and hang out with my friends and boyfriend in my free time. I’m excited for this school year. ☺

I am Kayleigh O’Hair. I joined Peace Montessori Forest School because I believe every child’s foundation to live starts with independence, trust in themselves and the freedom to discover who they are. In my free time I love to thrift, explore nature and journal.

My name is Tammy Taner. I am the lead teacher in Toddler 2. This is my 10th year here at Peace Montessori. My joys in life are my faith, family, my 1 dog and 3 cats and my love for children. My hobbies are planting flowers, shopping and an occasional week-end trip.

My name is Analee Haskins, I am an assistant in Toddler 2. This is my 4th year at Peace. I have worked as an assistant in the Montessori community since 2000. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and cats. Spending time in nature is my favorite way to relax.

My name is Rachel Schaadt, I am an assistant in Toddler 2. I am starting my 3rd year here at Peace Montessori. I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and canning. I enjoy traveling to car races and demolition derbies.

I am the Lead Teacher in Primary 1. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy time with my husband and my 11-year-old son, who also attends Peace Montessori. When I am not at school, you can often find me outdoors hiking, camping, caring for my horses, or tending to my small hobby farm. I also love to travel and explore new places. One of our favorite parts of traveling is discovering new vegan restaurants and trying delicious plant-based foods wherever our adventures take us!

I am Jasmine, I assist in the Primary 1 classroom, many know me from aftercare as well! Cleanliness, respect, responsibility and communication of emotions and needs are just a few of the skills I work on with the tiny humans here☺ Laughing and joking together is also very important to me as well. I do love to see them happy!

HI! My name is Lexi, I am a Primary Montessori teacher. I have been teaching Montessori education since 2023 and hold a master’s degree in Montessori Early Childhood Education. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming classroom where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, exploring their interest and growing into confident, independent learners. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my dog, traveling and reading books.

My name is Gabby, I look forward to my first year at Peace! When I’m not in the classroom I enjoy reading and writing, listening to music and spending time with people that I love!

Hi, my name is Ryan! I am a long-time employee of Peace and was even a student here when I was a child. Peace has always been my home and has offered me countless opportunities to grow. I hope to offer that same experience to our children, and to help foster their growth and independence.

My name is Sydney, this is my second year at Peace. I also teach special needs children how to swim at Turnstone when I am not here. I am also an old soul so I knit and craft in my spare time.

My name is Rachel Thompson. I have worked here at Peace Montessori for 28 years. After assisting in the Primary classroom, I moved into Elementary and loved every minute. I earned my AMI Montessori Elementary 6-12 certification in 2013. Peace is my home, and I am very proud of the work we do with children every day.

I am Haley, this is my second year here at Peace. Last year I started as an assistant in a Primary classroom. I am excited to be the Elementary classroom assistant this year! I used to work in ABA for a handful of years as an RBT. I am very artistic from 2D to 3D. I can’t wait to see the children’s creativity. I love my cats, my dog, the color black and spooky things.

My name is Samantha Summers, and this is my second year as the librarian here at Peace. I feel so lucky to be able to share my passion for reading with all the students I meet. When I am not at school you will usually find me with a book or a crochet hook in my hands.

It has been a pleasure, for the last 3 years, to work in aftercare here at Peace. I love working with the children and building great relationships with them. I have also loved working with many of the teachers. Peace Montessori feels like family because of the love and kindness that is shown towards each employee. It is a great place to work.

I am Azariah Inniger, I have worked at Peace Montessori for one and a half years in both extra care and as a classroom assistant. Before working at Peace I had experience volunteering with children throughout my high school years and I have continued doing so now as I’m taking college courses. Generally, I tend to be a homebody as I really like music, video games, anime, and I love playing volleyball. Throughout middle school and high school I played travel club volleyball. I hope to have a great school year alongside all the staff, students, and parents.

Hello, My name is Erica, and this will be my first year working at Peace Montessori Forest School! I will be in early care and subbing all around the school. I have worked in a school/childcare setting for 5 years and I am currently working towards my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. I look forward to meeting all the families and students and am grateful to be a part of their journeys here!
